The Tottenham players were back on the training pitch at Hotspur Way earlier this morning as part of their preparations for their Champions League round of sixteen second leg clash against AC Milan tomorrow evening in north London.
Tottenham manager Antonio Conte was back overseeing matters with his backroom staff having returned to the club earlier this week following his recuperation in Italy after his gallbladder removal surgery.
Failure to beat Milan tomorrow will see Spurs crash out of European football’s most prestigious club competition and end their hopes of silverware for another season, while also increasing the already toxic feeling among the fans over how things have panned out in recent weeks.
There is said to already be a broad feeling among the Spurs players that Antonio Conte will depart the club at the end of the season (The Athletic).
Among the players spotted being put through their paces at the club’s training ground were:
Goalkeepers
