In his latest piece for Caught Offside, Fabrizio Romano has offered his opinion on what needs to happen at Tottenham Hotspur to make their partnership with Antonio Conte succeed.
Conte has been with Spurs for almost a year and a half now, and while the first portion of his tenure was relatively successful, things are not quite as positive at the moment.

The Italian masterminded a top-four finish for Spurs last season, pipping local rivals Arsenal to a Champions League spot in the latter stages of the campaign.
This year, it’s been a frustrating time on the pitch, as the Lilywhites struggle to put together a consistent run of results.
Off the pitch, Conte has suffered with his health as well as seeing three of his friends pass away recently, too.
With his contract up in the summer, it is rumoured Conte may leave Spurs in the near future (Martin Lipton via Off The Ball).
It remains to be seen whether Conte will commit to a new deal with Tottenham, or move on.
But Romano insists no decision has been made regarding the 53-year-old’s next move, and there is a way to ensure he sticks around.
Romano said: “I’m told no decision has been made yet on Conte or Tottenham side.
“They will decide later in the season, like May or June.
“In my opinion there’s just one way to make things work with Conte, a coach who I really appreciate: support him and his ideas 100%, otherwise it makes sense to part ways.”
Spurs Web Opinion
That’s absolutely right. We either need to commit fully to Conte and his give him what he needs to succeed, or move on.
There’s no point having a manager like Conte if you’re not going to buy into his methods and give him the resources to win trophies.
