Former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson has shared his prediction ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League match against Nottingham Forest tomorrow afternoon.

Last time out, Lawrenson incorrectly predicted that Spurs would beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0, when in fact it ended as a 1-0 victory for Julen Lopetegui’s side after Adama Traore netted late into the second half.

Harry Kane has scored three goals in his three appearances for Spurs against Nottingham Forest in all competitions, including a brace at the City Ground in the reverse fixture this term.

The Spurs marksman is just goals away from netting 20 Premier League goals in a season for the sixth time and fans of the north London club will certainly be hoping to see him in their colours again next season.

It has been a disaster of a week for Tottenham, who have failed to end their 15-year wait for a trophy this season after crashing out of the FA Cup and Champions League to Sheffield United and AC Milan, respectively.

Lawrenson told Paddy Power: Wolves didn’t land a punch on Liverpool during the week and Tottenham did what only Tottenham do in the FA Cup, crashing out against Sheffield United.

“They should be in the quarter finals of the cup but, and I don’t know why this is, they have three or four good results and then they just bomb out. Tottenham will go and win this, it’s just how they are.

“Wolves 0-2 Tottenham.”

Tottenham are in turmoil, there’s no hiding from it.  Wherever you look there is uncertainty, Antonio Conte is set to return to Italy this summer while Harry Kane and Fabio Paratici’s futures are also up in the air.

One thing is clear, if Spurs fail to beat Forest tomorrow, it would be hard not to see Levy wield the axe before the weekend is over.
