Harry Kane has become England’s all-time leading men’s record goalscorer after he found the back of the net during the European Championship Qualifier against Italy in Naples.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker was given the opportunity to dispatch the ball from twelve yards out after a VAR intervention awarded the Three Lions a penalty and Kane made no mistake when he sent Donnarumma the wrong way.
Kane now sits at the top of the perch with 54 goals for his country, one more than Wayne Rooney. The 29-year-old suffered heartbreak at the World Cup in December when he missed a late penalty in their 2-1 quarter-final defeat to France.

The marksman broke Rooney’s record in 81 games for his country and comes on the back of last month becoming Totteham’s all-time top goal scorer, claiming a record that has stood for over 50 years when he overtook the legendary Jimmy Greaves.
Kane made his debut for the Three Lions in 2015 and became the permanent captain in 2018.
