CalcioMercato have revealed that Clement Lenglet wishes to remain in the Premier League beyond the end of his loan spell at Tottenham.
While Lenglet has been guilty of a few unforced errors over the course of his loan spell at Tottenham so far, he has largely looked steady and been a decent squad option for the Lilywhites.

Sport reported last week that Spurs had already begun talks with Barcelona over signing the Frenchman permanently in the summer.
The report suggested that despite Antonio Conte’s departure, the Tottenham hierarchy have been quite pleased with the Frenchman on ‘a personal and professional level’.
It was alleged that Barca would be happy to cash in on the player as he was not in Xavi Hernandez’s plans and that the two clubs could strike a deal worth €14m (£12.3m) for the centre-back.
CalcioMercato have now also reported on Tottenham’s interest in snapping up Lenglet on a permanent basis at the end of the season.
The Italian outlet add that the 27-year-old is in favour of the move, having made it clear to the Barca hierarchy that he wants to continue his career in England.
Spurs Web Opinion
I do not think Tottenham would be negotiating a deal for Lenglet or any other player for that matter before they have their managerial situation and their director of football situation sorted out.
It is quite possible that Spurs would have to look for a replacement for Paratici by the end of this month, which means that the Italian’s transfer targets might be binned.
