Jamie O’Hara stormed out of the talkSPORT studio after hearing Cristian Stellini say in the post-match press conference that he thought Tottenham played well.

Spurs had a chance to go into third place in the Premier League table with a win at Goodison Park yesterday and the Tottenham fans would have been hoping to see a response from the players following Antonio Conte’s departure.

However, it was very much more of the same for the Lilywhites, who struggled to create chances or impose themselves on the game.

It seemed as though they would still be able to come away with three points as they were goal up and had a man extra on the pitch with just a few minutes of the game left.

However, Lucas Moura was sent off in the 86th minute, and Michael Keane, who had been at the end of Brazilian’s rash tackle, scored a screamer just a few minutes later to ensure that the spoils were shared.

In his post-match press conference, Stellini insisted that his side played ‘a good game’ but admitted that they should have controlled the game better after Abdoulaye Doucoure’s sending-off just before the hour mark (Football.London).

Reacting to Stellini’s press conference, a furious O’Hara said on talkSPORT: “Someone save me.

“I’m done, I am done. Who is this imposter? Has Antonio Conte come back? Has he done a Mourinho and has got in the kit room or something? What am I hearing? What was that interview?

“He’s talking about keeping the ball and he put Davinson Sanchez on. A good game?

“I’m done, mate. I’m done. You can carry one, I’ve had enough of this,” – he said before storming out of the studio.

Stellini was never going to deviate from the tactical system or game plan that was in place under Conte, and he himself said as much.

So, those who were expecting something completely different from the 48-year-old were kidding themselves.

My one hope was that we would get to see the players play with a little more freedom since they do not have the same fear of failure that they had under Conte.

However, on yesterday’s evidence, that did not seem to be the case.
