The print edition of Mundo Deportivo (13/04/23 as relayed by Sport Witness) has revealed that Ansu Fati has turned down an approach from Tottenham Hotspur as he wishes to remain at Barcelona.
Fati has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter for Barca this season and Fichajes.net reported a couple of days ago that the forward could be on his way out of the Camp Nou this summer.

The publication claimed that the Catalan giants need to raise funds through player sales and might be open to cashing in on the 20-year-old, with Spurs named as one of the clubs who had expressed an interest in the youngster.
Mundo Deportivo have now also named Tottenham as one of the clubs keen on Fati’s services, along with Bayern Munich and Manchester United, with the three clubs said to be ‘attentive’ to the player’s situation.
However, it is explained that while the forward has ‘welcomed’ the interest from the aforementioned club, he has spoken to his agent about his desire to continue at Camp Nou.
Fati is alleged to have said ‘no’ to Tottenham and the other two clubs as he believes it is too early to give up on his dream of playing for Barcelona.
Spurs Web Opinion
It is possible that Barca could decide to sell Fati this summer, given their current financial predicament.
However, the forward is certainly not going to come cheap and I would be surprised if Tottenham were willing to spend big on him, given that we already have two similar players in Son and Richarlison, who are also at their best on the left.
