The latest reports out of Germany suggest Tottenham Hotspur are pushing harder to try and seal a deal to bring Julian Nagelsmann in as their new manager, with the 35-year-old viewing the club as having ‘big potential’.
Tottenham have been searching for a new permanent manager since the end of March, when they parted ways with Antonio Conte after 16 months in charge.

Since then, Conte’s former assistant Cristian Stellini was caretaker manager for four matches before losing his job after the disastrous defeat to Newcastle.
Ryan Mason is now Acting Head Coach at Spurs until the end of the season, at which point a permanent manager will be installed.
Nagelsmann has been widely tipped as the favourite to land the job in North London since he pulled himself out of the running for the Chelsea job (Caught Offside).
A report from 90 Min recently claimed Nagelsmann had held talks with Spurs, but had questions about the ongoing situation at the club surrounding the sporting director role which is currently vacant after Fabio Paratici stepped down.
Now, the latest from Sky Sports Germany suggests Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is pushing to progress the talks with Nagelsmann, and that the manager sees the job as a ‘serious option’.
Reporter Florian Plettenberg tweeted: “Tottenham and Levy pushing more and more! Further talks took place in the last days. Spurs are a serious option for [Nagelsmann]. His opinion: Big club! Big potential! But he wants to know exactly: How much power does he get in transfers?”

This sounds really promising and I just hope we can get it resolved as soon as possible so that Nagelsmann can have a full pre-season to shape his squad and begin the huge rebuild we need.
