Football Insider have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are set to face competition from Bayern Munich for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha this summer.
Palhinha has been a revelation since his switch from Sporting Lisbon to Craven Cottage last summer, with his consistent performances in the middle of the park being a key reason why Fulham have outperformed expectations this season.

It was Football Insider who reported last week that the midfielder’s performances in his debut Premier League season had caught the attention of several big hitters.
The publication claimed that Tottenham were lining up an offer for the Palhinha and could potentially face competition from Manchester United and Chelsea for the player’s services.
It was revealed that the Cottagers would only consider selling the former Sporting man if they receive offers in excess of £50m this summer.
The same publication has now asserted that Bayern have also entered the race for Palhinha’s signature ahead of the summer.
The report states that Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel is in the market for a new number six and believes that the Fulham man would tick a lot of boxes.
The Bundesliga giants allegedly sent scouts to England to watch the Palhinha in action against Aston Villa on April 25.

I am certainly not surprised that so many clubs are after Palhinha as the 26-year-old looks more than capable of making the step up to a top club.
With Tottenham not likely to have Champions League football to offer next season, our chances of landing the former Fulham man appear slim.
