Simon Jordan has said that Leicester City should only allow James Maddison to leave on their terms, suggesting that the club could even demand a whopping £75m for the midfielder.
It has been widely reported by multiple outlets over the last few months that Tottenham are keen on snapping up Maddison, with the Foxes said to value the 26-year-old at around £50m (Telegraph).

However, Spurs are expected to face competition from Newcastle United for the attacking midfielder, with Football Insider even claiming earlier this week that the Magpies have already reached out to the Foxes regarding a deal.
The report alleged that Eddie Howe has identified Maddison as the ideal option to add creativity to his midfield, with Newcastle now alleged to be laying the groundwork for a deal.
Leicester are now locked in a battle for survival, currently sitting two points off safety with three games left in the season.
When asked if the likes of Maddison should be allowed to leave if they go down, Jordan told talkSPORT: “Agreed, but only on the football club’s terms.
“With Maddison, you will say ‘listen, okay, I get it. Even though you were part of the team that got relegated and it’s actually you that’s complicit with all this’.
“You can go, you can go to Tottenham, or whoever wants to buy you and you can go for £75 million.”

Maddison will enter the final year of his contract with Leicester this June and he is certainly not going to sign a new contract.
So, the Foxes are powerless in this scenario. Even if they get a bidding war going for the 26-year-old, I doubt they would be able to get more than £50m-£55m for him this summer.
