A new report from the Netherlands suggests Feyenoord captain Orkun Kokcu may follow Arne Slot to Tottenham Hotspur if the Dutchman moves to the North London side.
Tottenham are still searching for a new manager and multiple names have come and gone when it comes to the rumour mill regarding their next appointment.

Feyenoord head coach Arne Slot is now thought to be the frontrunner in that race (Fabrizio Romano). Speculation has been mounting surrounding the future of the 44-year-old, who has just won the Eredivisie title with Feyenoord.
However, Feyenoord general manager Dennis te Kloese has insisted no approach for Slot has been made at this stage, and that he expects his coach to remain at the club as he is under contract (ESPN).
Whether Slot will make the move or not remains to be seen, but there is also interest from Spurs for Feyenoord’s Turkish midfielder Orkan Kokcu. It has already been claimed the club captain would follow Slot to Spurs (De Telegraaf).
Now, the latest report from 1908.nl suggests a move for Kokcu is becoming more and more likely, with Tottenham thought to have been “intensively scouting” the player this season.
The report claims Kokcu’s potential switch to Spurs would be “unrelated to a possible move” for his manager, and that the player could still join the North London side even if Slot doesn’t.
Apparently, “initial contacts” for Kokcu are already underway. It is expected Feyenoord will have a €40 million (£34.7m) asking price for their captain.

Orkun Kokcu is a top-quality player and someone I would be delighted to see at Spurs.
We should definitely try to sign him, regardless of whether Slot joins us or not.
He would be a perfect fit for the Tottenham midfield and has a bright future ahead of him.
