The Daily Mail have revealed that Feyenoord are expected to demand a large compensation from Tottenham for Arne Slot if the Dutchman insists on taking his assistants, Marino Pusic and Sipke Hulsoff, with him to North London.

The report states that Arne Slot is now emerging as a ‘serious option’ for Tottenham, who are expected to formalise their interest in the 44-year-old later this week after he expresses his intention to depart De Kuip.

It is explained that Feyenoord plan on demanding a fee in the region of £6m, which is the same amount as his release clause that is due to become active in the summer of 2024.

However, the Mail state that Slot plans to bring both Pusic and Hulsoff with him to the Premier League, which could ‘complicate’ negotiations between Spurs and the Dutch club.

It is asserted that the Eredivisie champions are expected to demand an even higher amount if their head coach does insist on taking his two assistants to Tottenham.

The fees being reported are quite modest. Tottenham would be happy to pay £6m to £10m for Slot if they feel the Dutchman is the right fit, particularly since his salary is not likely to be anywhere as high as what Antonio Conte’s was during his time at the club.
