Tottenham Hotspur defender Joe Rodon is attracting attention from Premier League clubs and teams in France, according to Alasdair Gold.
Rodon signed for Tottenham back in 2020, but has failed to live up to the early hype and make an impression in North London. He has amassed just 24 appearances for the Lilywhites since joining (Transfermarkt).

The Welshman has just spent the season on loan with Stade Rennais in Ligue 1, where he made 22 appearances and scored one goal for the French side (Transfermarkt).
Despite initial promise in the early period of his spell with Rennes, Rodon slipped to the peripheries of the squad and only made two appearances in the second half of the campaign.
Rodon will now return to Tottenham Hotspur to assess his future. With Ange Postecoglou taking over at the club, the status of many players is up in the air, particularly those who had been out on loan previously.
Joe Rodon has suitors in the Premier League
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Alasdair Gold discussed the options for Joe Rodon moving forward and suggested there is a chance he could remain in the Premier League next season – but not with Spurs.
He said: “Joe Rodon, again, if I’m Joe Rodon, I probably look for regular first-team football now.
“I think there’s a little bit of an interest in him around the Premier League and in France as well, and I think across the continent there’ll be a few clubs looking at Joe Rodon.”
Who these clubs are remains to be seen, but it sounds like Rodon will have some decisions to make this summer.

Sadly I think it’s best for everyone if Rodon moves on this summer.
He’s a good little player, but has never really shown enough to command a place in the Spurs squad.
He definitely needs regular first-team action now, and I just can’t imagine that coming his way at Tottenham.
