Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra has revealed that Davinson Sanchez has decided that he wishes to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Ange Postecoglou has been tasked with trimming a bloated Tottenham squad, with The Telegraph reporting last week that Australia is expected to oversee a mass clear-out this summer.
The report named Sanchez, who has been a bit-part player at the club for the past couple of years, as one of the players likely to be sold.
Sierr, who works for Win Sports TV in his native country has now revealed that the Colombian international has decided that now is the best time to end his six-year spell with the Lilywhites.
Davinson Sanchez wants to leave Spurs
The journalist reveals that the Tottenham hierarchy are also keen on cashing in on the former Ajax man since he has just one year left on his contract.
Sierra also adds that while some Premier League clubs have expressed an interest in signing Sanchez, the 27-year-old’s preference is to play in a new league.
Sanchez joined Spurs for an at-the-time club record £42million from Ajax in August 2017 while Mauricio Pochettino was in charge (Daily Mail).

Sanchez had become a source of frustration among some supporters when he found himself coming on as a substitute during the match against Bournemouth at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in May and was later hauled off by Cristian Stellini after he was booed by sections of the Spurs home support.
Spurs Web Opinion
While Sanchez has been a good servant for the club, his technical flaws meant that he was never really going to be good enough for a club with big ambitions.
I suspect Tottenham would have been keen on shipping out the Colombian last summer but Conte insisted on keeping him around as a squad player since the Italian wanted six central defenders in the squad.
