Turkish wonderkid Arda Guler, who is on Tottenham’s radar, is set to speak to Fenerbahce president Ali Koc to finalise his future, according to journalist Chris Wheatley.
Tottenham’s interest in Guler first came to light back in November of last year when Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli (17/11/22 via Tutto Napoli) reported that the North London club were eyeing a move for the 18-year-old during the January transfer window.
However, the teenager stayed put at Fenerbahce in January and continued to impress during the second half of the season, finishing the campaign with six goals and seven assists across all competitions (Transfermarkt).
Tottenham may have competition for Arda Guler
According to Wheatley’s latest update, Tottenham have now reignited their interest in the versatile attacking midfielder.
However, the journalist explained that the Lilywhites are not alone in their admiration for Guler, with the youngster also wanted by AC Milan, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund.
Wheatley revealed that the Turkish international has a €17.5m (£15m) release clause in his contract and that his future will soon become clear after he holds a meeting with Ali Koc.
Arda Güler will meet with Fenerbache president Ali Koç today to decide his future.

Spurs Web Opinion
I would not be surprised if Tottenham are looking to sign Guler and loan him back to Fenerbahce for next season so that he can continue his development at the club.
Perhaps that sort of a deal would be viewed more favourably by the Turkish side, thus giving Spurs an advantage over the other suitors.
