Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Bayern Munich have reignited their interest in Harry Kane after receiving positive signals from the striker’s entourage.
Plettenberg claims that Kane’s representatives have communicated to the Bayern hierarchy that the Allianz Arena is the striker’s preferred destination this summer.
The journalist alleges the Bundesliga giants have held new rounds of talks internally about their search for a number nine and have now installed the Tottenham man as their top target.
He adds that Thomas Tuchel’s men are now ‘planning their next steps’ to push ahead with a move for Kane and are optimistic that they can conclude a deal for less than €100m (£85.7m).
News #Kane: Internally and after new rounds, he‘s the top striker transfer target now.
Still difficult but #FCBayern got the signal from Kane that Bayern is his preferred destination. #COYS

Conflicting reports over Harry Kane to Bayern
This update from Falk comes a few days after journalist Christian Falk revealed on his YouTube channel (as translated by Bavarian Football Works) Bayern have not given up their pursuit of the 29-year-old.
The journalist suggested that despite Kane turning down the German club’s approach, they continue to have ‘hope’ that a deal for the centre-forward can be agreed.
Spurs Web Opinion
While there is no doubt that Daniel Levy would be more receptive to a bid from overseas for Kane than one from another Premier League side, I just do not see the striker wanting to move to the Bundesliga at this stage of his career.
The only club I can see Kane leaving England for is Real Madrid and it appears as if Los Blancos have abandoned their pursuit of the Spurs star.
