Harry Redknapp believes that Harry Kane will end up committing his future to Tottenham Hotspur.
It was reported by The Telegraph on Tuesday that Tottenham are willing to make Kane the highest-paid player in the Premier League by offering him a deal worth £400,000 per week but it was explained that the striker had no intention of signing a new contract for the time being.
Ange Postecoglou had previously confirmed at the start of this week that he has not been given any assurances by the Spurs hierarchy that the 29-year-old will stay put at the club (Football.London).
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are seemingly refusing to give up on their pursuit of the England captain, with some reports over the last 24 hours suggesting that the Bavarians are ready to even break the €100m (£85.2m) barrier to sign the centre-forward (L’Equipe via GFFN).
Redknapp predicts new contract for Harry Kane
However, Redknapp is not convinced that Kane will leave England and added that the striker would not have any guarantees of winning the league at a club like Manchester United.
The former Spurs manager told talkSPORT: “Harry wants to win trophies. If he stays in England, the only club really you could go to is Man City, if you’re going to be guaranteed to win a trophy.
“Everybody else is fighting at the moment still – I think Arsenal will be close next year, hopefully, Liverpool will push on. Unless you go to Man City, who don’t need him, winning a trophy there’s no guarantee.”
“Where are you going to win a trophy in England, guaranteed, unless you are at Manchester City? I mean, he’s not going to go to Arsenal, he is not going to go to Chelsea, they are not going to sell him there.
“At the end of next year, he is a free (agent). Would he go to Manchester United or somewhere on a free? Maybe or somewhere. I think he will end up committing his future to Tottenham and staying there.”

The point Redknapp makes about no club in the Premier League apart from City being able to guarantee Kane silverware, is perhaps exactly why the striker has given the green light for a switch to Bayern this summer.
The Bundesliga giants might well return with another offer for the striker soon but they would need to offer £90m-£100m to give Daniel Levy something to think about.
