Win Sports TV journalist Pipe Sierra has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have rejected offers from Spartak Moscow and Galatasaray for Davinson Sanchez.
Spurs are expected to make major changes in central defence this summer, and multiple reports over the past month have indicated that Sanchez, who has just one year left on his contract, is expected to be offloaded (Football.London).
The 27-year-old has been mooted as a target for the likes of Flamengo (Globo), Galatasaray (Sporx), Villarreal (Relevo), Spartak Moscow (Sport Express) and PSV Eindhoven ( Voetbal International) over the last couple of weeks.
Spurs have turned down two offers for Sanchez
Sierra has now taken to social media to state that Tottenham have already received an offer of €9m (£7.7m) from Galatasaray and another worth €10m (£8.5m) from Spartak.
However, the journalist adds that the North London club have turned down both bids. He explains that while other clubs also have their eye on Sanchez, they are yet to submit any official offers.
Spurs Web Opinion
I am quite surprised that Tottenham have turned down £8.5m for Sanchez, given that he has just one year left on his deal.
Perhaps, the club believe they can get around £12m for the centre-back, given the amount of interest he is generating around Europe.
