Fabrizio Romano has said on 888 Sport that Paris Saint-Germain are waiting to see if there are any hiccups in Bayern Munich’s pursuit of Kane so they can potentially pounce for the Tottenham striker.
While most of the speculation over recent days on Kane’s future has been about his proposed move to Bayern, PSG seemingly remain in the picture for the Spurs star.

Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto claimed a couple of days ago that the Parisians had made contact with Spurs regarding Kane and suggested that the Ligue 1 club hope to use their ‘harmonious’ relationship with the Premier League side to their favour during the negotiations for the striker.
The Telegraph even claimed on Monday that Daniel Levy would favour selling the England captain to PSG as he believes that the French club would be willing to pay a bigger fee than Bayern.
However, the report asserted that Kane prefers a move to the Allianz Stadium over Parc des Princes.

Romano has now told 888 Sport that while PSG have made contact regarding Kane, their primary focus very much remains on selling Kylian Mbappe.
The journalist adds that the French club are also aware that the Tottenham striker is prioritising a move to Bayern. So, he claims that PSG are now positioned and ready to pounce should any roadblocks arise in Kane’s move to Germany.

It seems like Kane has had his heart set on a move to Bayern Munich from pretty early on, possibly since his conversations with Thomas Tuchel at the start of the summer. That might explain Bayern’s confidence in getting a deal for the striker over the line.
