Tottenham Hotspur rounded off their Asia-Pacific tour with a 5-1 victory against Lion City Sailors in Singapore on Wednesday.
While the first half was a frustrating affair on occasions with defensive frailties seeing Ange Postecoglou’s side fall behind to their opponents, the second half was a much-improved display.
One of the most impressive performances in the second forty-five minutes at the Singapore National Stadium was Ivan Perisic, with the Croatian putting in a solid shift down the left-hand side of the pitch in which he added a dimension to the style of play which we rarely saw the Croatian offer during his first season in North London.

Spurs have told Perisic he can leave
The Daily Mail have claimed that the 34-year-old has been told by Tottenham that he will be able to leave N17 if a suitable offer comes in from another club.
Perisic joined Tottenham after his contract expired at Inter Milan last summer and signed a two-year deal which saw him reunited with his former boss Antonio Conte in the Premier League.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported earlier this month that there was a possibility that he could terminate his contract at Tottenham in order to move back to Croatia to join his boyhood club Hajduk Split as he enters the latter stage of his career.

Perisic mostly operated as a wing-back last season and it would be fair to say that he did not enjoy the best of campaigns, while his set-piece delivery has always been of a high standard, he at times struggled to create an effective link-up with Heung-min Son down the left.
