The Times have reported that Bayern Munich bosses are determined to complete a deal for Harry Kane as early as this week, despite a gap in valuations.
It is said that the Bundesliga champions are willing to go as high as £85m for the England captain this summer, but Tottenham may ask for as much as £100m.
Bayern continue talks with Tottenham today
This comes after Bayern Munich technical director, Marco Neppe, was spotted at the airport in Munich boarding a private jet to London today.
This comes as no surprise, as plenty of reports have been doing the rounds that Neppe and Jan-Christian Dreesen, Bayern’s chief executive, are expected to meet with Daniel Levy today for talks about Harry Kane (Telegraph).
Fabrizio Romano also took to Twitter this morning to explain that the next few hours are very important in any potential deal.
Spurs Web Opinion:
£15m is a pretty big valuation gap when you are talking about such a large total fee. I suspect that a compromise may be reached with £85m plus around £10m in achievable add-ons. Anything below that and Levy may take the risk on keeping Kane and trying to convince him to sign a new deal.
