Richarlison may have missed the pre-season friendly against Shakhtar Donetsk yesterday, but the Brazilian has been seen training with the Tottenham Hotspur first team again today.
Last time out, against Lion City Sailors, Richarlison played a starring role and bagged himself a hat-trick against the Singapore side.
The forward struggled in his first season with Spurs last year, and only managed three goals in all competitions, with his first Premier League goal coming in April (Transfermarkt).
However, there is every chance Richarlison will step up in the coming season, especially if Harry Kane departs the club.
Alasdair Gold recently claimed Spurs boss, Ange Postecoglou, has an ‘affection’ for Richarlison and noted that the Australian appreciates the player’s work ethic.
Unfortunately, Richarlison was out of action for the pre-season fixture against Shakhtar Donetsk at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on Sunday, after picking up a knock in training.
He is expected to be available for the next game, against Barcelona, today (Alasdair Gold).
Richarlison spotted in training after his knock
Any Spurs fan hoping to see Richarlison in action tomorrow will be pleased to see the 26-year-old is back on the training pitch ahead of the game.
Tottenham Hotspur shared a video on their Twitter account, highlighting the fact new signing Ashley Phillips was training with the club for the first time. Eagle-eyed viewers will be able to see Richarlison partaking in the session, too.

The Brazilian was carrying out a drill alongside Tanguy Ndombele and Sergio Reguilon, in a separate group from Ashley Phillips.
Spurs Web Opinion
It will be great to have Richarlison back for the game against Barcelona, even if he only manages a little bit of time on the pitch. We still don’t know if Harry Kane will be here for the first game of the season, so Richarlison needs to be as sharp as possible if he is called upon for the Brentford match.
