The developing situation regarding Harry Kane’s future has just become even more complicated, as reports out of Germany suggest an unnamed club have approached the Tottenham man to offer him a 2024 move with ‘significantly better’ terms than the proposal from Bayern Munich this summer.
All summer, Harry Kane has dominated the headlines as Bayern Munich have pushed to sign the Spurs man. With less than 12 months remaining on his current contract, Tottenham have found themselves in a dilemma as to whether to cash in now, or lose their star striker for nothing next year.

The German outfit have had multiple bids rejected over the last few weeks, but it has emerged today that Tottenham have finally accepted an offer worth £86m (The Athletic).
With the first game of the new season fast approaching, many expected the deal to be rushed through, with Kane thought to be ready to make the move to the Bundesliga.
However, various reports have claimed the 30-year-old is now hesitating over the switch and could stay with Spurs this season (Sky Sports News).
Who has approached Harry Kane now?
In a new twist in the tale, a report from BILD suggests the reason behind Kane’s change of heart right now could be due to the fact that another club has contacted the England captain “at short notice” and tempted him with a big offer for next summer, when he can leave on a free transfer.
BILD journalist, Christian Falk, said this on the matter: “According to our information, there are rumours that a club made Harry Kane a significantly better offer for a free transfer in 2024. Paris is looking for a replacement for Mbappé. Chelsea and Manchester United cannot be ruled out either.”

This whole situation is becoming ridiculous now, and must be having an impact on preparations for our first game of the season. We really need Kane to come out and make his position clear, so that we can all move on, one way or another.
