Journalist Ignazio Genuardi has said that Tottenham Hotspur are now ready to make their opening offer for Gent striker Gift Orban.
Over the last week, plenty of reliable sources have suggested that Tottenham are eyeing Orban as a potential replacement for Harry Kane.
This includes Alasdair Gold, who revealed via Football.London a few days ago that the 21-year-old, who has been prolific since his switch to Gent in January, might be signed this summer to offer competition to Richarlison for the centre-forward role.
Spurs’ interest in Orban was also backed up by The Athletic’s Charlie Eccleshare, who revealed on Saturday that Tottenham’s scouts have been keeping a close eye on the Nigerian.
The journalist added that there is a belief at the North London club that they could get a deal for the centre-forward over the line for around £20m plus add-ons.
First bid could now arrive from Spurs for Gift Orban
Genuardi has now become the latest journalist to report on Tottenham’s interest in Orban, with the Frenchman stating that a bid could arrive from the Premier League side for the striker.
He adds that Spurs are willing to offer around €25m-€30m (£21.5m-£25.9m) for the highly-rated forward.
Une fois le dossier finalisé, les Spurs ont notamment prévu de faire une offre pour Orban de La Gantoise (entre 25 et 30 M€). Eze de Crystal Palace apparaît comme une autre cible.

It seems like only a matter of time before Tottenham push ahead with a move for Orban. Given the modest transfer fees being branded about, one would expect this deal to be fairly straightforward for the club to complete.
