AS Monaco are set to step up their interest in Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo by tabling a new improved bid for the defender, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Ligue 1 side have made the former Manchester City academy graduate one of their key transfer targets before the window closes and are currently locked in talks with the Cottagers to get a deal over the line.
The 25-year-old has also been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, however, it was reported by Foot Mercato last month that the central defender would prefer to make the move to Monaco rather than North London.

Monaco closing in on Tosin Adarabioyo
The former England Under-19 international has already agreed personal terms over his switch, with Fulham having preferred to have seen him join Tottenham instead and try to negotiate a move which would see Eric Dier head in the other direction (Fabrice Hawkins).
Romano wrote on Twitter/X: “AS Monaco are preparing new formal bid for Tosin Adarabioyo, now approaching Fulham with serious intent.
“AS Monaco consider Tosin as priority CB target and negotiations continue.”

It seems clear that Adarabioyo has no interest in making the move to Tottenham and with Ange Postecoglou looking to build a squad of players who are fully onboard with his ideas, the club certainly need to end any interest in the defender.
