Ange Postecoglou, his captain Heung-min Son, and Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy are set to hold a forum with Spurs fans later this month, to discuss the past, present, and future of the club.

At the moment, things are going pretty well for Tottenham under new manager Ange Postecoglou. The Australian took over at the North London club in June and has instilled a fresh sense of optimism among the players and fans.

The team are playing well, winning football matches, and most importantly entertaining the supporters with a commitment to an attacking style of play.

It’s all in stark contrast to last season, and indeed the last few years. The negativity of Antonio Conte‘s reign, twinned with disillusionment at the club’s ownership, forged great divisions between the fans and the team.

Postecoglou has stressed how important he views the relationship between the club and the fans, and how he feels the support of the supporters can help to carry the side forward (Football.London).

Now, the supporters will get their chance to discuss all things related to the club in a rare forum which will be attended by Daniel Levy, Postecoglou, and club captain Heung-min Son. The Spurs Women’s manager, Robert Vilahamn and star player, Bethany England, will also be on the panel.

According to Football.London, the forum will focus on Postecoglou’s “integration into the club”, the recent transfer window, and a look at the future, too.

It is said that a previous “lack of communication” from the club’s owners, which has been a “bone of contention” for many fans, could be remedied at this event, as they look to provide clarity on the current situation and hopefully offer “the prospect of a brighter future.”

The last forum of this type came during the Mauricio Pochettino era, when Levy and Hugo Lloris were in attendance. This event will take place on September 19 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Fair play to Levy for showing up to this event, as he is sure to come in for a bit of criticism on the day. It’s a good thing though, and clearing the air in this way, at a time when things are going well, seems like a smart move.
