Ange Postecoglou has already started to shape his new-look Tottenham Hotspur squad with a number of arrivals and a few departures before the transfer window slammed shut.
The Evening Standard are reporting that Ivan Perisic’s future is currently uncertain in North London with the 34-year-old currently weighing up his options ahead of his contract expiring at the end of the current campaign.
One potential destination for Perisic is his former club Hajduk Split, who believe they are at the front of the queue for his signature and could look to move forward with a deal as early as the January transfer window.
Persic came through the academy ranks at Split but did not make a senior competitive appearance for the Croatian outfit before moving to French club Sochaux in 2007.

Tottenham are already in contact with Split with Fabrizio Romano revealing on X that they are on the verge of signing 16-year-old central defender Luka Vuskovic.

Perisic has looked more comfortable in Ange Postecoglou’s system as more of an attacking option on the left flank than he did as a left wing-back under Antonio Conte. Destiny Udogie has already proven that he is the future on the left side of Spurs’ defence while Ryan Sessegnon needs to be moved on when he finally recovers from his hamstring surgery.
With his contract set to expire in the summer, he deserves a swansong back at his boyhood club before he looks to call time on his career.
