Harry Redknapp has said that Tottenham will go into the North London derby believing that they can get a result.
Tottenham’s record at the Emirates is extremely poor, with the Lilywhites’ last win at the stadium coming back in 2010 when Redknapp was in charge.
Spurs have delivered poor performances at the home of their fiercest rivals over the last few years, none more so than last year when they were brushed aside comfortably by Mikel Arteta’s men.
However, unlike previous seasons when Tottenham went to the Emirates with a game plan of defending deep and hitting the home side on the counter-attack, Ange Postecoglou’s new-look Spurs side will undoubtedly look to dominate possession and take the game to Arsenal.
Son Heung-min has already fired a warning shot ahead of the game, with the Spurs captain insisting that the Gunners would not want to play Tottenham right now (The Times).

Spurs will be confident heading into Arsenal clash
Redknapp admitted that, unlike some previous seasons, he expects a great game at the Emirates on Sunday.
The 76-year-old told talkSPORT Breakfast (20/09/23 at 8:15 am): “It will be a good game, at the weekend. Both teams are in good form. Tottenham have done well.
“Maddison, what a signing for that money. What a good player. A fantastic talent. Tottenham are looking strong.
“So, I think they will go to Arsenal on Sunday and feel they can get something from the game. It’s going to be a great London derby between two good teams.”
Spurs Web Opinion
I am looking at this game as a free hit and do not expect us to get anything from it. The pressure is all on Arsenal and I am looking forward to seeing whether we can dominate proceedings at the Emirates and take the game to the home side.
