L’Equipe reporter Loic Tanzi has claimed that despite recent reports to the contrary, Tanguy Ndombele is still in the plans of Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk.
Ndombele has only played a total of 123 minutes across seven matches since his move to Galatasaray in the summer (Transfermarkt) and some reports over the last 48 hours have shed light on why that is the case.
Fotospor claimed on Tuesday that Buruk had lost his patience with the midfielder due to his attitude and lack of professionalism.
The outlet explained that the 26-year-old was 6 kg overweight when he arrived in Istanbul and despite being asked to adhere to a rigorous diet regime, he has only managed to lose 2 kg so far and is still not in the required physical condition.
Takvim even suggested yesterday that Buruk was not overly keen on bringing Ndombele to the club during the summer due to the midfielder’s ‘psychological and mental’ track record.
The 50-year-old allegedly ‘vetoed’ the Spurs man’s signing twice but the Turkish club’s hierarchy decided to sign him anyway.

Ndombele still has a chance of making things work
However, Tanzi has now taken to social media to state that Ndombele is currently sidelined due to an injury to his adductor, insisting that the Galatasaray boss very much still counts on the 26-year-old.
