There was no sign of James Maddison in the video released by Tottenham of Wednesday’s training session.
Ange Postecoglou now faces the challenge of being without several of his key players after the events of the London derby on Monday night.
While Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie were sent off against Chelsea, Micky van de Ven and James Maddison came off with injuries in the first half.
Meanwhile, Richarlison also confirmed after the game that he will undergo an operation on a pelvic injury that has plagued him for quite a while (ESPN).
Given that Ryan Sessegnon, Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic are already sidelined, Tottenham’s injury list is now seriously mounting.
James Maddison not spotted in Tottenham training
Postecoglou did hint on Monday night that Maddison’s injury did not seem as serious as Van de Ven’s, stating that the attacking midfielder sustained a knock on his ankle (Football.London).
So, some Spurs fans would have hoped that the midfielder would potentially be available for the club’s trip to Molineux Stadium, but the latest training pictures and videos released by the club are not promising.
They posted a video of the players walking out to the pitches at Hotspur Way and the attacking midfielder was nowhere to be seen.

Spurs Web Opinion
I do not think we could jump to conclusions based on the training videos and pictures. However, the likelihood is that Maddison will miss at least one game as Postecoglou might not want to take any risks if the midfielder is not 100 per cent fit.
It will be interesting to see who the Australian plays if Maddison is not passed fit. While Lo Celso is the obvious like-for-like replacement, the Spurs boss also potentially has the option of playing Brennan Johnson as a number ten.
