The Daily Mail have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are demanding £30m to sell Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in January.

The Telegraph reported earlier this week that Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli and his assistant Giovanni Manna were at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday to run the rule over Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

The report stated that the Dane is ‘high on the list of targets’ for Juve, who are keen to add reinforcements to their midfield, with Paul Pogba currently suspended for an alleged doping violation, while Nicolo Fagioli is serving a ban for breaching betting rules.

Spurs name price for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

The Mail have now backed up the same claim, stating that both Giuntoli and Manna were at the London derby to watch Hojbjerg.

However, the outlet explains that the Tottenham man is not the only option on the Old Lady’s wishlist, asserting that the Sere A giants will hold ‘a number of meetings’ to see which midfielders are available at their price range.

It is explained that Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips, who is open to a loan move away from the Etihad Stadium, is also on the Bianconeri’s radar.

Finally, the publication makes it clear that Tottenham would want £30m to part ways with Hojbjerg even though he would only have 18 months left on his contract at Spurs in January.

Spurs Web Opinion

I do not think Postecoglou would mind hanging on to Hojbjerg as a backup option until the end of the season. So, Spurs will not sell the Dane unless someone is willing to bid around £25m-£30m for the former Saints man.
