According to a report in Corriere dello Sport (as relayed by TEAMtalk), Crystal Palace are ready to press ahead with a bid for Tottenham target Matias Soule.
Soule has been tipped for big things right since his teen years in the Juventus academy and the versatile attacker is now starting to fulfil his potential on loan at Frosinone.
The 21-year-old, who has operated on the right or as an attacking midfielder, has managed six goals and an assist in 13 Serie A appearances so far (Transfermarkt).
CalcioMercato were the first to report last week that the youngster’s performances had caught Tottenham’s attention ahead of the January transfer window.
A few days ago, JuveLive also backed up Spurs’ interest in the Argentine, adding that they could be challenged by Newcastle and Crystal Palace.

Palace ready to make a move for Matias Soule
If Corriere’s latest update is to be believed, Palace could be the first to act, with the Eagles alleged to be ‘ready to make a super offer’ for Soule.
It is alleged that the Old Lady have informed the Selhurst Park hierarchy that they would have to pay €35m (£30.1m) for the attacker.
The publication adds that while the Bianconeri would ideally prefer to hang on to Soule, they need to sell players due to their financial problems.

I have a feeling that Tottenham will come to regret it if they allow Soule to go to Palace. The 20-year-old has quite a high ceiling and strikes me as the sort of player that would thrive under Postecoglou.
