TuttoSport have claimed that Italian football agent Fabrizio De Vecchi could play an important role in facilitating Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s move to Juventus next month.

Despite Rodrigo Bentancur’s injury and the fact that Spurs will be without Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr next month due to the African Cup of Nations, the speculation linking Hojbjerg with a move to Juve has not disappeared.

Just last week, Calciomercato explained that the Serie A giants had made fresh contacts with the midfielder’s entourage, with the club’s sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli and manager Massimiliano Allegri both alleged to be admirers of the Tottenham man.

Agent could play a role in Hojbjerg to Juventus

TuttoSport now have more on Juve’s pursuit of Hojbjerg, explaining that the Dane parted ways with his former agent, Pini Zahavi in September since he was unhappy that a transfer did not go through last summer.

The 28-year-old is thought to be keen on an exit, and the Old Lady are expected to seek the help of De Vecchi, who has worked on several transfers for them before.

The publication adds that the former Southampton man would be a good option to shore up Juve’s midfielder if Spurs were willing to loan him with an option to buy.

Spurs Web Opinion

I fully expect Tottenham to insist on either a permanent transfer or a loan deal with an obligation to buy. I do not think Spurs would entertain a straight loan or one with an option as they have nothing to gain from that. Ange would probably rather hang on to the Dane as a squad player until next summer.
