FC Copenhagen are prepared to sell 18-year-old winger Roony Bardghji, with Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United thought to be keen on signing him, according to 90Min.

While the January transfer window will likely see Ange Postecoglou firmly focused on equipping his Tottenham squad with the players he needs for the here and now, it never hurts to look towards the future.

Indeed, the signings of Alejo Veliz and Ashley Phillips during the summer were a real signal of intent for Spurs, as building blocks for the squad for years to come.

Next month, it is thought Tottenham are looking to sign a centre-half as a priority (Telegraph), while a wide attacker or centre forward is also expected to be on Postecoglou’s shopping list as he looks to bolster his ranks forthe remainder of the campaign.

While a number of names have been mooted as potential targets to fulfil the latter, it seems there could be an opportunity to sign one of Europe’s hottest young talents.

Roony Bardghji may be available in January

That’s according to 90Min, who claim FC Copenhagen would be willing to part with Roony Bardghji in the January transfer window, despite the youngster propelling the club to the Champions League knockout stages.

It is Chelsea who are thought to have a “long-term admiration” for the young Swedish winger, but Tottenham and Manchester United are also believed to be keen on his services.

Apparently, Copenhagen are “prepared to sanction an exit next month” for the 18-year-old, and Chelsea are looking to “beat the queue” for the player. But, the Blues face stiff competition from various Premier League sides.

It is thought Spurs have “held talks with intermediaries” to sound out a possible move for Bardghi.
