Both Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have agreed Tottenham will have a challenge on their hands when they face Everton this weekend, but the two pundits believe Spurs will get the win.
Things are looking up for Tottenham right now, with two straight wins keeping the Lilywhites in the hunt for a place in the top four in the Premier League this year.
Before that, Ange Postecoglou‘s side had gone five games without a win, picking up just one point from a possible 15 thanks to a draw away at champions Manchester City.
Everton, meanwhile, have had to endure a 10-point deduction for breaching Financial Fair Play rules, but Sean Dyche’s men have rallied and managed to put together a run of four straight wins in the league of late.
Despite being penalised, the Toffees are now nine points clear of the relegation zone and are absolutely flying.
Spurs vs Everton will be a tight game
Suffice it to say, then, that the match between Spurs and Everton on Saturday will be a tight one, and likely an entertaining game, too.
Discussing the upcoming fixture on Stick to Football, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville had some trouble predicting the outcome of this game.
Neville begins by claiming: “Difficult that one, I’m on the fence with it.”
Carragher has a bit more conviction, though, adding: “I think Spurs will win.” This prompts Neville to put his neck on the line, replying: “2-1 Spurs. Set piece, Everton might score a set piece.”
Spurs Web Opinion
This will be a really tough game, as Everton are unstoppable at the moment, but their good run has to come to an end at some point. I think with home advantage, and our team looking a bit brighter of late, we can take this one. I will also say 2-1 to Spurs.
