Il Bianconero have claimed that Juventus are now getting ‘closer’ to striking a deal with Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
It has been widely reported over the last few weeks that Spurs are listening to offers for Hojbjerg (Football Insider), who is alleged to be on the wishlist of both Ajax and Juventus (The Athletic).
There was seemingly a significant development last week, with Gianluca Di Marzio revealing that Spurs had relaxed their stance on the Dane and were now willing to loan him out next month as long as an obligation to buy is included.

Juve making progress on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg deal
This has now been backed up by Il Bianconero, who also say that a loan with an obligation to buy formula has now become an option.
The outlet says that Spurs and Juve are now getting ‘closer’ in the negotiations for Hojbjerg, adding ‘this time we could be there’.
The publication explains that Massimiliano Allegri has made it clear to the Bianconeri hierarchy that the Tottenham man is his preferred choice ahead of Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips, which is why the Old Lady are now focusing on the 28-year-old.

Now that Conor Gallagher is seemingly back in the shop window, I think the chances of Hojbjerg leaving Spurs in January have gone up significantly as the North London club would want to make room in the squad for the 23-year-old by moving on the former Saints star.
