Ange Postecoglou praised Richarlison for his performance against Everton, insisting that the Brazilian is capable of delivering even more over the coming weeks and months.
Son Heung-min had challenged Richarlison to step up and deliver the goods for Spurs in his absence before the South Korean jetted off to Qatar for the Asian Cup (Mirror) and the Brazilian has certainly risen to his captain’s challenge.
On Saturday, he added two more to his tally on his return to Goodison Park, which means that the forward now has 10 goals to his name in the Premier League this season.
Richarlison took both of his goals superbly, showing his goalscorer’s instinct for the first, sweeping home with his left foot from close range after being picked out by Destiny Udogie.
His second was even better, with the 26-year-old producing a sublimed curled finish into the top corner from the edge of the box, giving Jordan Pickford no chance.
There is more to come from Richarlison
Unfortunately, the goals were not enough for Spurs to emerge with three points, with the home side netting a late equaliser to snatch a draw.
When asked what he thought of Richarlison’s performance, Postecoglou said after the 2-2 draw (via Football.London): “Richy was good again, not just his goals but his general play. It was again really important for us. He worked hard for the team and there’s more to come from Richy. He’s working hard on his game.”

While Richarlison has demonstrated his eye for goal and his finishing prowess over the last couple of months, he is not getting enough credit for his hold-up play and the effort which he puts in out of possession. One can understand why Postecoglou loves the 26-year-old as he is quite an extremely selfless striker.
