AS have claimed that Alejo Veliz is working extremely hard behind the scenes at Sevilla to ensure that he returns to full fitness as swiftly as possible.
Veliz was seen as one for the future when Tottenham secured his services from Rosario Central last summer and the youngster perhaps ended up getting more opportunities than many would have expected him to in the first half of the season, owing to the injury crisis that Ange Postecoglou was dealing with.
In his cameos off the bench, the Argentine certainly showed why there is so much excitement about him, netting his first Premier League goal against Brighton in December.
Veliz will now be hoping to get regular competitive minutes under his belt at Seville after completing a loan move to the club last month, with the striker now recovering from a knee injury.

AS do not give a timeframe for his return but they say that the centre-forward is currently ahead of schedule. It is revealed that he is ‘working hard’ to ensure that he is available for selection as soon as possible, with the 20-year-old being keen to impress.
In fact, the outlet states that even though Quique Sanchez Flores gave his squad two days off following back-to-back wins against Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano, Veliz was at the gym, working on his recovery.
The publication adds that the on-loan Spurs man is showing ‘determination and involvement’ to join the rest of his teammates in training as soon as possible.

It sounds like Veliz is keen to impress and show Postecoglou and the coaching staff at Tottenham that he is good enough for the highest level. The North London club will undoubtedly keep a close eye on how the 20-year-old gets on in Andalusia over the next few months.
