Tottenham Hotspur will be looking for another crucial win in the Premier League this weekend against Wolves, and here is when the game takes place, how you can watch it, and which Spurs players will be available for selection.
Ange Postecoglou‘s men recorded an important win at the weekend against Brighton, coming from a goal behind to secure all three points with a dramatic injury-time winner from Brennan Johnson.
The win took Tottenham into the top four in the Premier League, and made it five games unbeaten in the league with a run stretching back to late December.
Their next opponents, Wolves, suffered defeat against Brentford on Saturday. Gary O’Neill’s side are 11th in the Premier League, but are not far off breaking into the top ten if results were to go their way.
When and where is the Spurs vs Wolves game?
The game between Spurs and Wolves takes place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 17th of February, with a 3 pm kick-off time arranged.
How to watch Spurs vs Wolves
Unfortunately, due to the blackout rules in the English football league for Saturday 3 pm kick-offs, you will be unable to watch the Spurs vs Wolves game on television.
You can keep up with the action through the likes of Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday, but similar score update shows are available via the BBC and other outlets. The highlights will also be shown by Sky Sports and on Match of the Day.
Spurs vs Wolves team news
Tottenham have very few players out right now, and Ange Postecoglou is able to select from a nearly full complement of players in his squad for this weekend’s game. The big change from last weekend is, Heung-min Son should be ready to start the game.
The Spurs skipper was on the bench for the Brighton game, having just arrived back from the Asian Cup, but will be ready and raring to go for Wolves. The same should apply to Yves Bissouma, who also had a short turnaround from his own international duties.
Spurs will be hoping Giovani Lo Celso is ready to play again after a month out of action with a thigh injury. The Argentine was back in training last week but didn’t make the matchday squad for the Brighton game.
Ryan Sessegnon and Manor Solomon will likely not be ready for the Wolves match, while Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie are both also ruled out after picking up injuries in the wake of the Brighton win.
Back-up goalkeeper Fraser Forster is also expected to be out for a couple of months with a fracture of his foot (Football.London).
Wolves, meanwhile, are without key player Matheus Cunha. However, they are boosted by the availability of Hee Chan Hwan following a calf issue (Wolves official).
The Spurs Web prediction
We will be buoyed by that win over Brighton and will want to get revenge over Wolves for the defeat earlier this season, too. With home advantage, a full squad to pick from, and momentum in our favour, I back Spurs for a 2-0 win.
