Journalist Dean Jones has said that while Tottenham may not find a deal for Pedro Neto easy to complete next summer, the North London club will believe that they can get the transfer over the line.
If reports over the past couple of weeks are to be believed, Tottenham are already making plans to sign a top-class winger when the transfer window opens in the summer.
The player who has been most heavily linked with a move to the North London club is Neto, with various outlets suggesting that the Lilywhites are expected to battle Arsenal for the player’s signature (The Sun).
However, over the last few days, some sources have suggested that Wolves could demand as much as £80m for the 23-year-old in an effort to keep him off the clutches of Tottenham and other Premier League sides (David Ornstein – The Athletic).
The Wolves star is not the only wide player who has been mooted as a target for Ange Postecoglou’s men, with the likes of Barcelona’s Raphinha (Sport) and Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams (Sports Lens) also thought to be on the club’s radar.
Tottenham remain in the race for Pedro Neto
When asked about Tottenham’s interest in these players, Jones has now told GiveMeSport: “Pedro Neto is somebody on their radar. Raphinha has been mentioned as well. Nico Williams, at Athletic Bilbao, is another player that they’re continuing to monitor.
“It will be interesting. Pedro Neto will be a very difficult one to get because of the competition that there will be to actually sign him.
“But Tottenham have signed a couple of players recently, that they’ve done well to get through the door, and they will believe that anything is possible.”

Neto would undoubtedly be the most expensive of the aforementioned three players. I also believe there is a high possibility of the club reigniting their interest in Antonio Nusa when the transfer market reopens in June as we know that Postecoglou approved a move for the Club Brugge star last month.
