According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Emerson Royal has reached a full agreement with AC Milan regarding a long-term contract ahead of a potential move from Tottenham.

Emerson Royal to AC Milan is gathering pace

Over the last few days, a number of Italian outlets have suggested that Emerson’s proposed move to Milan is gathering pace and Gazzetta now bring the latest on the matter.

They say that the right-back wants to seal the transfer quickly and has already agreed on a five-year deal worth €3m per year with the Rossoneri.

With the Brazilian making it clear that moving to the San Siro is his number one preference, Milan hope to take advantage of this fact and agree a ‘fair’ price with Spurs.

The report says that Tottenham are continuing to insist on €25m for the right-back while the Serie A club are expecting to close the deal for around €18m-€20m including bonuses.

The outlet says that the Italian side hopes to complete the transfer soon so that the 25-year-old can start pre-season training with his new teammates on Monday.
