Tottenham still missing nine players for Everton clash as another injury crisis mounts
Thomas Frank could once again be without a whole host of Tottenham players when his side travels up to Merseyside to take on Everton on Sunday.
Spurs will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they return to Premier League action, and they face a tough ask as they travel to the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time.
According to Opta’s Supercomputer, Everton are favourites to get three points against Tottenham, but Thomas Frank will take heart from his side’s impressive away record in the Premier League this season.
A whole host of players are on the treatment table for Spurs, and it has been suggested that none of them may be fit to make the trip up north.
Who are the the Tottenham players who could be out of the Everton clash?
Long-term injury absentees, James Maddison, Radu Dragusin, Dejan Kulusevski and Yves Bissouma remain out of action.
Football.London have said that Ben Davies and Dominic Solanke also continue to work their way back from their injuries, and are set to miss out on Sunday.
Additionally, Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie, who missed Tottenham’s last two matches against Aston Villa and Monaco, will not be back fit for the Everton clash.
The outlet also adds that while Kota Takai is now back in full training, the game against the Toffees may come too quickly for the summer signing.
Everton could also miss two key players for the Spurs clash
Frank will have Mathys Tel available for selection after the Frenchman missed out against Monaco due to not being named in the Champions League squad.
Football.London reveal that Tottenham’s opponents could also be without two key players, with centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite ruled out of the clash as he has experienced a ‘complication’ in his recovery from a hamstring injury.
David Moyes’ men are said to be waiting on news on full-back Nathan Patterson’s availability, with the 24-year-old a doubt to take to the field against the Lilywhites.
