Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a move for a young centre-forward who is turning a lot of heads in the Bundesliga this season, but it may have to battle several elite clubs for his signature.

Tottenham are keeping an eye on Porto striker Samu Aghehowa, who is thought to have a release clause of £87m.
Several outlets have also installed Spurs as the favourites to land Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, who is in the final year of his contract at the Allianz Stadium.
Tottenham eyeing move for Hoffenheim youngster Fisnik Asllani in January
According to a new report in TBR Football, Spurs are now plotting a move for Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani, whose stock has grown rapidly over the last 16 months.
The youngster spent last season on loan at German second-division side SV Elversberg, where he scored 18 goals in 33 games, and he has continued to impress on his return to Hoffenheim.
Asllani has found the back of the net five times in eight matches this season and has also impressed in his international outings for Kosovo.
This has not only brought the young forward on the radar of Spurs but also of several other elite clubs across Europe.
Spurs are set to face plenty of competition for Fisnik Asllani
TBR Football say that Tottenham Hotspur have been joined by Premier League rivals, Aston Villa and Chelsea, in the race for Kosovan’s signature.
However, they are not the only ones, with journalist Graeme Bailey telling the outlet that Asllani is also on Barcelona’s wishlist.
Bailey is quoted as saying: “Asllani is a player who has massively stood out via analytics, but scouts are also purring about him.
“Barcelona have been hugely impressed, but they are not alone, the English clubs and others are now fully aware of him and are tracking him now. Asllani is a name we are going to be hearing a lot more about.”
