MOST interns have a ’mare at some point during their first week – and it’s been no different for Brooklyn Beckham.
I can reveal those working alongside him during his internship with legendary photographer Rankin have been left stunned by his lack of basic skills.
Insiders told me Brooklyn has struggled with even the easiest jobs and is having to be treated like a total novice.
A source said: “Everyone knew Brooklyn’s work needed fine tuning but no one knew his knowledge of the simplest tasks was so off.
“Everyone had high hopes for him but it’s not been the most impressive start.
“He’s lacking in most areas. But he’s trying to make up for it in enthusiasm.
He has previously shot a scent campaign for Burberry and photographed Game Of Thrones’ Sophie Turner and his model girlfriend Hana Cross.
“Luckily, no one has asked him to make the tea yet but some have been tempted. It’s become a bit of a joke.”

Brooklyn’s 2017 photo book What I See was panned for being “blurry”.
But a second insider said throughout those shoots he needed help with “the lighting and setting up of the shots. It’s basic stuff”.
They added: “Brooklyn’s best at pressing the button on the camera.”
I’m not surprised he’s found it tough. Brooklyn dropped out of New York’s Parsons School of Design last year, where he was studying.
The Sun revealed at the time how he had deferred his place after landing another internship with a top photographer.
I think it’s time to go back to school, Brooklyn. No one can run before they can walk, — even if your parents are Posh and Becks.

Rita’s on fire
SHE’s midway through her Phoenix world tour but Rita Ora is showing no signs of fatigue – as she looks white hot in a bra fashioned into flames.
The Ritual singer turned on the style for the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
She now has four more European dates before taking in South Korea, Croatia and Japan before wrapping up her tour in Germany on September 8.
But if you thought she was going to be taking a rest after being on the road for so long, you’d be wrong.
She has told me how she plans to put out as much new music as possible before the year is out – so as soon as gigs end will be back in the studio to put finishing touches on her upcoming record.
It makes me feel tired just thinking about it.

Grieving Ariana hit booze
ARIANA GRANDE has told how she hit the bottle after the death of her ex Mac Miller.
The rapper died of an accidental overdose aged 26 last September.
In an emotional interview with US Vogue mag, Ari said: “It’s pretty all-consuming.
“By no means was what we had perfect, but he was the best person ever, and he didn’t deserve the demons he had.
“I was researching healing and PTSD and talking to therapists. I don’t remember those months of my life because I was a) so drunk and b) so sad.”
Ariana also wept as she spoke about the Manchester bombing, where 23 people died after a suicide bomber struck at her concert in May 2017.
She returned to the city two weeks later to perform at the One Love concert and dedicated her track, Get Well Soon, to victims.
Ariana said: “I’m proud we were able to raise a lot of money but it didn’t bring anyone back.
“We did the best we could, but on a totally real level we did nothing.
“I have a lot that I still need to process and will probably never be ready to talk about.”

- MOST people have vices, but Billie Eilish’s is by far one of the strangest. Radio 1 chart attack
RADIO 1 bosses are launching a fresh assault on their commercial rivals with a new show in the coveted Sunday teatime slot.
I can reveal The Official Chart: First Look, will give listeners the earliest possible rundown of early sales and streams.
From Sunday, Cel Spellman and Katie Thisleton will host the show live, going head-to-head against Capital and Heart FM.
Kate said: “I am so excited. The Official Chart is such iconic radio. Our listeners love to hear the best chart tunes and get shout-outs.”
Scott Mills’ Friday chart show will remain the same.
Sam Fending off fame
HE might be the man of the moment but Sam Fender hasn’t got too big for his boots.
The Brit award-winning singer still lives in his home town with his mum, who keeps him in line.
The Play God hitmaker said: “It’s impossible to let fame go to your head when you still live in North Shields in a flat with your mum.
“If I was to go off the rails or get ahead of myself I would get a slap.
“My family are proper Geordies, they’d lynch me. I pay my rent.” The
singer, who is performing at Bob Dylan and Neil Young’s Hyde Park show on Sunday, added: “I’m a horrendous cook, my mum does my meals.
“I can only cook beans on toast with cheese.”
A delicacy, in my opinion.

Chris’s hits and misses
I SENT my reporter Howell Davies to Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome for Christina Aguilera’s The X Tour, ahead of the UK leg in November . . .
IT has taken 12 years for Christina to return to Europe on tour – and it was a shaky start.
The backing vocals were drowning and, despite this eye-catching silver outfit, she almost seemed reserved on stage, something no one wants from a superstar.
Even Xtina’s first No1, Genie In A Bottle, feels uncomfortable.
But then she belts out emotional ballad The Voice Within and everything changes.
From there she finds her groove and the 90- minute show flies by, complete with EIGHT costume changes.
She grinds against a background of flames for Dirrty and is showered in glitter for Lady Marmalade.
But she saves the best until last, with her empowerment anthems Beautiful and Fighter, which are just as relevant and motivational as ever.
Christina can still sing all of her contemp- oraries under the table.
And now she’s back on stage, it looks like there’s no stopping her.
