TOM Holland’s Spidey senses must have been tingling while watching Love Island earlier this year.
I am told the Spider-Man actor has taken a shine to contestant Lucie Donlan and made his presence known on her social media account.
The Cornish surfer and model, booted out of the ITV2 show in the sixth week, is one of only 258 people Tom follows on Instagram, on which he has 29.4million followers.
He has liked a series of her snaps, just a month after I revealed he was dating a Londoner named Olivia Bolton.
A source close to the reality star said: “When Lucie came out of the show she had gained more than a million followers, but she was shocked at some of the celebrities who had followed her.
“She has dated famous guys in the past and has some friends in the business, so things like that don’t really phase her.
“Tom doesn’t post about Olivia though. Lucie didn’t know he had a girlfriend.”
Tom, from South West London, who has previously been romantically linked to his on-screen Spider-Man love interest Zendaya, has had a series of huge roles in the Avengers movies and Captain America: Civil War.
But he has always remained quiet on his love life, until he was photographed hand-in-hand with Olivia last month.
Speaking about the guys she tends to fancy, Lucie has previously said: “I find sporty guys so much more attractive compared to your average guy that just chills and goes on nights out.
“I’d rather have someone that could come and surf with me and then I could go and do their cool sport.”
Once she watches those Marvel fight scenes, he’s bound to be her type.

Si sinks teeth into diet
AFTER overhauling his diet and getting a new set of bright-white gnashers, Simon Cowell resembles Bingo from Sixties kids’ favourite The Banana Splits.
But I have to admit, he looks pretty good for it – and The X Factor mogul agrees.
Simon admitted he has never felt better after dropping 1.5st and exercising more regularly. He said: “I’ve not looked back since I changed my diet – I look and feel better. Now I even wake up feeling less tired.
“I can still have the occasional beer, too. I can’t quit that.”
If I can still enjoy a pint, even I might give Simon’s new lifestyle a try . . .
High time, Stephen
DURAN Duran founder member Stephen Duffy, who left before the band took flight, thinks he is finally ready for the big time.
Stephen, who wrote Robbie Williams’ hit Radio, is set to release a new album, Return To Us, with his group The Lilac Time. During an intimate performance at London’s Groucho Club, he said: “Maybe now, at 60, I’m ready for a stadium tour.
“I was never going to be Simon Le Bon. I’m still a prolific writer. It turns out I’m enthusiastic about myself. I’m one of my own biggest fans!
“I look back at my band days and think, ‘What was I doing with those silly boys?’”

LEWIS Capaldi should get a change of clothes ready for when he plays his next gig. Speaking on stage in Edinburgh on Tuesday night, he admitted: “I’ve p****d my pants . . . I don’t usually get embarrassed but this is a new low.”
Red Mick not Blue
AFTER a four-year break, Simply Red are back.
New album Blue Eyed Soul is out November 8 – and today the band dropped Thinking Of You, the first single from the ten-track record.
Mick Hucknall and his group also confirmed they will play at BBC Radio 2’s Hyde Park show on September 15. Mick said of their return: “I could do one of those dark, reflective albums looking back on my life, that people tend to do at a certain age.
“But I thought, sod that! I want to have a good time.”
Welcome back, Mick. It’s been far too long.

New George song in movie
LAST Christmas gave George Michael a huge hit – and fans will be hoping this Christmas gives him another.
In November, nearly three years after the icon’s death, his first posthumous release will be unveiled in a new movie loosely based on his music.
Top director Paul Feig on Wednesday confirmed that one of the songs from George’s final, unreleased album would make up part of the romcom’s soundtrack.
He explained: “One of our tracks is one of those songs, and it’s absolutely amazing. It’s a very celebratory song, I would dare say.”
And it is good news for George Michael fans such as me, as Paul confirmed they wouldn’t be cutting the epic track short.
He added: “We were able to play the entire song, which is almost six minutes long, in the film.

“Because when you get a song that has never been heard, you don’t want to just use, like, 15 seconds of it. The song starts at the end of the film and then goes into the credits.
“I’m so excited the world is going to get to hear it.”
The film, called Last Christmas in a nod to George’s festive track, features Emilia Clarke playing an aspiring singer, Emma Thompson and Henry Golding.
I can imagine this being a real tearjerker. I hope it does George proud.

AFTER weeks of whispers about Harry Styles being cast as Prince Eric in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, the One Direction singer has turned down the coveted role. Disney is said to be looking at other actors after Harry, who made his acting debut in 2017’s Dunkirk, decided the part wasn’t for him.
AVA MAX has slammed a court ruling that Katy Perry’s Dark Horse plagiarised another track. Defending the tune’s producer Cirkut, the Sweet But Psycho singer tweeted: “He would never even fathom stealing a song . . . the two songs aren’t even remotely similar. This is setting a dangerous precedent.”
DON’T expect to see Gerard Butler playing James Bond. Asked if he would want the 007 role when Daniel Craig quits, he told Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp: “No. I had a meeting for it 20 years ago. Now I’m at a nice ripe old age where they won’t be coming back my way, which is fine.”
A$AP Rocky has been found guilty of assault following a street fight in Stockholm, Sweden, in June. The US rapper – who spent nearly a month in custody before being released ahead of yesterday’s hearing – was handed a two-year suspended sentence and ordered to pay damages to the 19-year-old victim.
