VERNON Kay is lined up to host a new ITV Saturday night show to replace Britain’s Got Talent.
The move is his first major deal since coming third in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! last month.
Vernon Kay will host Game Of Talents after BGT was cancelled due to Covid-19 safety concerns[/caption]Game Of Talents will see members of the public teaming up with celebrities to guess the hidden skills of mystery performers in return for cash prizes.
ITV is considering a seven-part series to replace BGT, cancelled yesterday amid Covid-19 safety concerns.
A source said: “Vernon may not have won I’m A Celeb but from day one he was the star of the show — likeable, warm and really down to earth.
“Vern hasn’t been on ITV primetime since Family Fortunes six years ago, so it feels like now is the perfect time to bring him back into the fold.”

An ITV insider said no decision had been made on when it would air.
