The best Korn song is 1994’s Blind, according to Kerrang!
Loudwire had pronounced in 2014 that 1998’s Frank on a Leash is Korn’s top song.
“Freak on a Leash was the last single from the band’s breakthrough album Follow The Leader,” Chris Ford writes in Loudwire.
“The video, which netted Korn their first Grammy, shows the background story behind the album’s unsettling cover.

“This song is pure Korn, complete with creepy verses followed by heavy, groove-centric choruses.”
Kerrang! ranks Freak on a Leash as number four – behind Blind, Falling Away from Me, and Here to Stay.

Writes Sam Law in Kerrang!: “They’d been on the boil for the four years leading up to this point, but it was with the ethereal aesthetic and understated menace of Freak On A Leash that Korn properly bubbled over into the mass-mainstream consciousness.
“That hauntingly glassy intro could’ve been lifted from the darker end of hip-hop, and Jonathan’s rhythmic delivery sounds almost rapped, but the song builds from the 60-second mark into a nu-metal masterclass full of crunching riffage and twisted angst.”
Current members of Korn include lead singer Jonathan Davis, James “Munky” Shaffer, Reginald Arvizu, Brian “Head” Welch, and Ray Luzier.
