The teacher – who is played by actor Stevie Basaula in the BBC soap – stopped taking his medication and has spiralled out of control.

Isaac Baptiste is in the midst of a breakdown after stopping his medication[/caption]In tonight’s episode he locked Ruby Allen in her office with Jean Slater after deciding she was responsible for his late brother’s death years ago.
“I’ve nearly got it,” he said to a confused Ruby and Jean.
“I thought I had it before but there’s something missing.
“The final piece of the puzzle and you’re the only person who has the answers Ruby.

“Stop lying, you know exactly what I’m talking about and that’s why you don’t want to talk to me. You know your dad killed Paul.”
“All of your lies it’s all part of a conspiracy to cover up my brother’s murder. You’re a bad person Ruby – a truly bad person.”
Realising Isaac was in mental distress, Jean tried to talk him down and make him feel heard.
But it backfired and he locked them all in the office.

He said: “She needs to tell the truth, that’s all I want – to put things right and to get Paul justice.”
Jean managed to talk him down and they left the office just in time for Lola to arrive with Patrick and Denise.
But Isaac was distrusting and told them they were all in it together to stop him getting to the truth.
“I’m seeing clearly for the first time in a long time,” he said.
