Croatia 3 Spain 3 (3-5 aet): Morata nets extra-time winner as Euro 2020 explodes into life in EIGHT-goal thriller
ALVARO MORATA and Mikel Oyarzabal scored in extra time as Spain just survived Croatia’s late fightback to make the Euro 2020 quarter-finals.
Spain had bounced from a goal down to lead 3-1, only for two goals in the final five minutes from Croatia to force extra-time.
But Morata and Oyarzabal both scored in the first period of the additional 30 minutes to book their place in the quarters.
