EMMERDALE fans have all spotted a massive blunder that could have saved Andrea Tate’s life.
The wedding planner – who is played by actress Anna Nightingale in the ITV soap – was hunted to her death by serial killer Meena Jutla in tonight’s episode.
But she could have easily survived had she not made one fatal mistake.
Andrea fled into the giant maize maze in a desperate attempt to flee from Meena and save herself.
However in all the running around, petrified of being caught and killed by nurse Meena, Andrea seemed to forget that the maze was made of maize.
And as such she could have simply run through it to escape.
Instead she bizarrely treated the long-stemmed crop as an impenetrable barrier allowing Meena to catch up with her and beat her half to death.
Viewers watched as Andrea tried to defend herself with a flare gun but instead set fire to the maize maze.
Meena then left her to die in the fire – but Andrea wasn’t quite dead.
She desperately tried to reach the walkie talkie to summon help and expose Meena trying to kill her.
But no-one was listening and so Andrea was overcome with smoke and died in the centre of the maze.

But fans were quick to point out her blunder.
One wrote: “Just run in a straight line through the maze! It’s not a brick wall!”
A second said: “Andrea, FFS, get out! If the others have managed to run around finding a way, so can you!”
Another added: “This is actually really unrealistic because they would all be dead by now from smoke fumes. Laughable.”
A fourth concluded: “Why doesn’t Andrea just run through the crops?”
Meanwhile Priya Sharma was left badly burned after being caught in the fire, and Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd went public after reuniting outside of it.
The pair confessed their feelings for one another after they both tried to save the other from burning.
